Mary J. Griner

Mary Jane Griner, 84, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away on Monday, August 27, 2012, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Mary Jane was born on September 11, 1927 in Perrysburg to Albert Russell and Maude Elizabeth (Lusher) Kohl. She married Victor James Griner on March 28, 1947 in Perrysburg. Mary Jane was a 1945 graduate of Perrysburg High School. She enjoyed playing cards and dancing with her husband as well as gardening and canning. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary Jane is survived by her loving children, James V. (Billie Jo) Griner and Deborah K. McKeand; grandchildren, Jason, Corey (Jayme) and Jeffrey (Maria) McKeand; great-grandchildren, Katelynn Jablonski, Evan McKeand and Madelynn McKeand; brother, Russell Junior “Chick” Kohl; sisters-in-law, Jan (George) Leslie and Geraldine Habel; brother-in-law, Herbert (Phyllis) Griner and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; brothers, Robert, William, Merlin and Ray Kohl, sister, Lillian Steinline and grandson, Shad M. Crispen. Friends will be received Thursday, August 30, 2012 from 2:00 PM-8:00 PM in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E.S. Boundary St., Perrysburg, Ohio, 419-874-3133, where funeral services will be held on Friday, August 31, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at the New Belleville Ridge Cemetery.
