Mary W Greive

Mary W. (Speck) Greive, 89, of Perrysburg, Ohio died Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Heartland of Perrysburg. She was born in Wood County, Ohio on March 5, 1926 to Frederick, Sr. and Julia (Roether) Speck. Mary graduated from Perrysburg High School and married her sweetheart, Edwin Greive. Together they raised their family. Mary enjoyed working for Marsha’s Buckeyes. In her free time she loved quilting and traveling around the world with her friends. Mary is survived by her sons, Fred (Carol) Greive of Perrysburg, OH and Tom (Kim) Greive of South Carolina; daughter, Sharon (Chuck) Dunn of Toledo, OH; grandchildren, Tom Greive, Jr. and Kristen Greive; great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Eva; brother, Fred Speck; sister, Nellie Woelke. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Jean Greive; sisters, Frieda Witzler, Theresa Ernsthausen and Alice Wolf. Friends will be received at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary St. Perrysburg, OH (419-874-3133) on Thursday May 14, 2015 from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Friday May 15, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 22552 Carter Rd., Bowling Green, OH. Burial will follow at New Belleville Ridge Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Mary’s name may be made to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church of Dowling.
