Mary Jane Evans

Mary Jane Evans, 94, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed peacefully on Saturday, May 7, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 9, 1928 to John and Catherine (Kordas) Kubiak.

She married Paul James Evans on July 2, 1949 and together, they had six children.

Mary Jane is survived by her husband and their children John (Charmaine) Evans, Susan (Ronald) Gaut, William (Marlene) Evans, and Kathryn (Daniel) Fern; grandchildren Tonya (Matthew) Garner, Felicia Gaut, Stephanie Gaut, Christopher (Bernia) Fern, Alex (James) Swonger, and Kaitlyn Fern; great-grandchildren Brandon, Brennen, Bradley, Alan Jr., Charles, Nicholas, Malaya, Avery, and Landon.

She is preceded by their children Frankie and Tommy Evans, her parents, and her siblings.

Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 East South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, Ohio (419-874-3133). A funeral mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Saint Rose Catholic Church, 215 East Front Street, Perrysburg, Ohio, burial will follow at Saint Rose Catholic Cemetery.
