Mary Ann DeLuca, 80 of Oak Harbor, died in the early morning of Friday, July 15, 2016, at Mercy-St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo. She was born May 1, 1936, in Port Clinton, Ohio, to Michael and Anna (Baborich) Elias; and on November 26,1955, in Port Clinton, she married James V. DeLuca, who survives. Mary worked in Cleveland for the Rosemary Home for Children and then in Port Clinton at Aim Plastics. More recently she had been an antique dealer. Mary was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oak Harbor, where she was active in the Rebecca Circle. She also enjoyed doing crafts and making wedding cakes. After raising her own children, she helped to raise two of her grandchildren. Surviving Mary are her husband of 61 years, James; her children: Toni (James Spike Wightman) DeLuca, Charles (Beth) DeLuca, Vincent (Tracy Skoufos) DeLuca and Phillip (Tina Perry) DeLuca; 12 grandchildren: Mary (Jason) Kahne, Dustin (Kayle Fritchen) DeLuca, Demetrius Skoufos, Garrett Skoufos, Nicholas Skoufos, Sarah Bastian, Alex Bastian, Abby DeLuca, Beth Ann DeLuca, Dakota Durdell, Christopher Durdell and Frank Kouts; three great grandchildren: Joshua DeLuca, Deborah Kahne and Jason Kahne, Jr.; her brother, Michael (Bonnie) Elias; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her parents and sister, Andrea Chambers, preceded her in death. Visitation will be 10 a.m.-12 noon on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor, with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. Burial will take place in Rusha Cemetery in Oak Harbor. The family has suggested memorial donations for Mary to be directed to the American Cancer Society, 740 Commerce Dr. Suite B, Perrysburg, OH 43551; or the Oak Harbor High School Choir.
