It is with joy that we remember the life of Mary Louise (Reinhart) Davis who passed away on November 23, 2024, at the age of 100.
She was born in Alvada, OH, on March 17, 1924, the fifth of eleven children.
She married her husband Charles Davis on April 19, 1945, and they were married for 68 years.
Mary loved her family, going to garage sales, playing cards, going anywhere with her loved ones, and attending parties. She never wanted to miss any school activities or events of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a faithful member of Gesu Catholic church for 73 years.
Her legacy will live on through her children, daughters, Diane M. (Michael) Bohland, Debra R. (Daniel) Reese; sons, Jeffrey C. (Margaret) Davis, Randal J. (Laurie) Davis, Daniel J. (Bernice) Davis; grandchildren, Heather (Matthew) Zuccarell, Brett (Sarah) Reese, Courtney (Chad) Walters, Eric Davis, Amanda (Owen) Miller, Adam (Margan) Davis, Aaron (Reina) Davis, Stephanie (Anthony) Sciara, Danielle (Nick) Alonzo; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Megan and Natalie Zuccarell, Jonas, Lillian and Nolan Reese, Caylie and Allison Walters, Eric Jr. and Layla Davis, Reese, Blake and Piper Miller, Oliver, Camille, and Adrian Davis, August and Marcus Davis, Colin and Michael Sciara, Antonio Gonzalez and Ashlynn Callis, sister-in-laws, Carol Reinhart and Natalie Reinhart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; siblings, Mildred Reid, Donna Schreiner, Genevive St. Aulbin, Joan Rose, Richard Marvin, Leonard Marvin, Ronald Reinhart, Jim Reinhart and Charles Reinhart; sister-in-law, Anna Louise Abell.
A visitation will be held at Walker Funeral Home (5155 W. Sylvania Ave.) on Sunday, December 1, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at Gesu Catholic Church on Monday, December 2, 2024, at 10 a.m. with an hour visitation prior.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to Care360 Hospice in Mary’s honor for all the excellent care they provided for her. We would like to thank the caring staff at Genacross, Wolf Creek Campus, for their love and support.
