Mary Katherine (Beans) Crider, 84, of Fresno, California, died Saturday, June 28, 2014. She was born November 26, 1929, in Toledo, Ohio, to Florence (Graver) and Irwin E. Beans. Mary was married to Donald G. Crider, who preceded her in death in 2008. Mary was a graduate of the University of Toledo with a B.S. in Business Administration and later continued her eduation on to obtain her teaching credentials. She taught for Anthony Wayne Schools at Fallen Timbers Middle School for 21 years. Mary lived much of her adult life in Maumee, Ohio, and moved to Fresno in 2008. She enjoyed playing solitaire on the computer, gardening, traveling and golfing. One of her biggest accomplishments was her hole-in-one! Mary instilled in others her love of reading and art. Mary is survived by her daughters, Terri (Gene) Gebhart of Austin, TX and Lorie (Mike) Ollivier of Fresno, CA; grandchildren, Jacob (Jamie) Weber of Fishers Island, IN, Nicole Ollivier of Carlsbad, CA, Bradley Gebhart of Austin, TX, Lauren Ollivier of Fresno, CA, Ryan Gebhart of Columbus, OH, Allix Ollivier of Santa Cruz, CA and Amanda Gebhart of Austin, TX; and great grandchildren, Hannah Weber and Nicholas Weber. She is also survived by her brother, E. William Beans. Her parents and husband preceded her in death. Family and friends will be received on Thursday July 3, 2014 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Maison-Dardenne Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 Conant St., Maumee. The funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on July 4, 2014 at the funeral home with burial to follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
