Mary L Cooper

Mary L. Cooper, age 60, of Northwood, Ohio passed on to her heavenly home on Saturday, February 11, 2017 with her fur love, Henri, waiting impatiently for his walk and cuddle time. Mary was born February 1, 1957 to Howard and Nancy (Althaus) Seiler in Dearborn, Michigan; both proceeded her in death, as well as her brother, Thomas Seiler. She was a faithful member of Mainstreet Church where she had been involved in many small groups over the years including the B.I.C. and Life Cycles groups. Mary was an active servant at the church joyfully giving of her time and energy to their Guest Services ministry and numerous outside ministries. Mary loved to travel with her husband, and had taken many trips around the country and to tropical locations. A devoted mother and grandmother, she loved spending as much time as she could with her family. Mary married the love of her life and best friend, Keith D. Cooper, on October 29, 1976. Celebrating 40 years of marriage, he survives her together with their children, Nancy Thomas and Kevin Cooper; two grandchildren, Caleb & Carys Thomas; sisters, Kathryn Miller and Rebecca (Bob) Schramm; brother, James (Stephanie) Seiler; many nieces and nephews and her most special and loved aunt, Anne Paul. Also surviving are her beloved dogs, Stella and Walter, who made her laugh and smile every day. She believed after the gift of salvation, dogs were God's greatest gift to mankind. A memorial service will be held at Mainstreet Church 5465 Moline Martin Rd. Walbridge, Ohio 43465 on Saturday February 18, 2017 at 1 P.M. where the family will receive friends starting at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church's Next Move fund in support of their work to make a difference in the next generations of Christ-followers or to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
