Mary Fran Bondelier, 88, formerly of Maumee, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 20, 2018 at Indian River Village in Fairfield Bay Arkansas. She is survived by her son Daniel (Sandra) Bondelier, and grandchildren Carly, Damian, and Desiree Bondelier, Sister Anabel (Tom) Stubbs, brother Bob Kopp, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, etc. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Tom, daughter Debra, and grandson Brody Bondelier, sister Elbee Kopp-Sanders, brother Billy Kopp, mother Nelda Frances Worst-Kopp, and father Raymond Kopp. Fran was a vibrant, loving woman with a great sense of humor. She took special delight in those old-timey songs and ditties like Mares Eat Oats, Raggedy Man, and 30 Purple Birds, and she loved to teach them to anyone who would listen, but especially her children, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren She was a wonderful wife, mother, and Nana who loved a good adventure, planning many a family camping trip and traveling as far away as Finland. She was a great cook who made amazing pies and the worlds best fudge. Fran was also a snazzy dresser, a competitive card player, a loyal friend and sister, and an enthusiastic aunt who was like a second mother to her sisters children. Her backyard was often filled with kids and the sounds of laughter. Fran loved deeply, gave generously, and spoke openly of her passions, whether it be The Ohio State Buckeyes, her friends and family, or the people she served through Mobile Meals, the caregiver respite program at her church, and The Salvation Army. She was a bright and shining light in the world and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A Memorial Service will be held to honor and celebrate her life on Friday May 18th, at 10:00 am, at Maison Dardenne Funeral Home: 501 Conant Street Maumee, OH 45357. Officiating will be the Reverend J. Paul Board of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Maumee where Fran attended and served. A graveside service will follow at Fort Meigs Cemetary, 620 W. Indiana Ave. Perrysburg, OH 43551. Following the services, a luncheon will be held at The Brandywine Country Club: 6904 Salisbury Road Maumee, OH, 43537.
