Mary Louise DeWalt Bayly died January 16, 2013, in Waterville, OH. Born December 20, 1919, in Massillon, OH, daughter of Curtis W. DeWalt and Beatrice Wilkerson DeWalt; predeceased by brothers, Curtis W. DeWalt and David DeWalt; husband, Joseph Tate Bayly IV d. 1986; sons, Joseph Tate Bayly V, Daniel DeWalt Bayly, Johnathan McCauley Bayly, and Nathan Curtis Bayly. Survived by children Deborah Elaine Bayly, Timothy Baker Bayly, David Jeremy Bayly; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Lexi Hart, and other adoptees. A 1942 graduate of Wheaton College Illinois, married to Joseph Tate Bayly December 18, 1943, the Baylys lived in Boston, then Philadelphia, then 40 years in Chicago. In 2005 Bayly moved to Waterville where she lived with son and daughter-in-law Rev./Mrs. David and Cheryl McHenney Bayly. Active in Neighborhood Bible Studies for 40 years, Bayly was an avid gardener and served in the STARS ministry at College Church in Wheaton. Visitation Friday, January 18, 2013, from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at Christ the Word Church 10640 W. Central Ave., Swanton, OH with funeral following Friday 7:00 p.m., also at Christ the Word Church. Burial Saturday, January 19, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Wheaton IL Cemetery. The Walker Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements, 419.841.2422.
