Mary Florence Anthony

Mary Florence Anthony, 87, of Perrysburg, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. Mary was born March 5, 1929 in Piqua, Ohio to Sylvester and Mary (Murray) Crotty. She married Mark J. Anthony on November 22, 1952 and he preceded her in death on March 6, 2009. Mary was a member of St. John XXIII Catholic Church in Perrysburg and enjoyed reading and gardening. She is survived by her children, John Anthony and Patricia Anthony; grandchild, Alyssa (Jon) Whitney. Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at St. John XXIII Catholic Church, 24250 Dixie Highway, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551, at 10:00 A.M. with Father Herb Weber, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Oregon, Ohio. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133).
