Mary Ann Ann Podgurski

Mary Ann Podgurski, age 91, of Sandusky, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at the Providence Care Center in Sandusky, Ohio.  She was born on May 12, 1930, in Gypsum, Ohio to Alex and Margaret (Sokoloski) Podgurski.  Mary worked at Kroger’s for 30 years in Port Clinton and the Philco Company for 17 years.  She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Port Clinton and enjoyed dancing, listening to Frank Sinatra and big band music, reading, gambling and watching the Cleveland Indians.

Mary is survived by her brother, Edward Podgurski and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Cashmere, John, Stanley, Alex and sister, Olga Cespke.

The funeral mass for Mary will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, January 28, 2022, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 414 Madison Street, Port Clinton, Ohio.  Interment will be private at Riverview Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be directed to Immaculate Conception Church of to the donor’s favorite charity.
