Mary E. Jacob Abdelsayed

Mary E. Jacob (Abdelsayed), age 85, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at St. Lukes Hospital.  She was born on February 17, 1929 in Cairo, Egypt and moved to the United States in 1982. Mary is survived by her family; son, Hany (Irene) Jacob M.D.  and their children, Joseph (Pauley) Jacob, Maria Jacob, Angela Jacob; daughter, Susan Hanna and her children, Nancy (Sameh) Saweres and Maggie (Magdy) Daniel and son-in-law, Raafat Zamary; daughter, Gesil Ibrahim and her children, Naguib Ibrahim, Miranda (Shoukry) Malaty, Caroline (Matthew) Porter and Mary Elizabeth (Emad) Shenouda; daughter, Eva (Adel) Hanna and their children, Emad Hanna and Mary (Husam) Farouz; and daughter, Rita (Albert) Shaker and their children, John Shaker and Marco (Dina) Shaker.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Jacob; granddaughter, Mary Zamary; son-in-law, Halim Hanna; parents, Eskandar and Demiana Abdelsayed and five brothers. Visitation will be at Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee, OH  on Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 10 am to 1 pm.  Funeral service prayers will be held on Saturday at 2 pm at St. George Coptic Orthodox Church, 4860 Waterville-Monclova Rd., Monclova, OH 43542 with burial at Toledo Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made to Dr. Sabry Gohara Endowment Scholarship Fund (payable to St. George Coptic Church) or San Miguel Lago Orphanage (payable to Friends of the Hogar Rafael Ayau.
