Marvin Boyde Ohm, 71, of Catawba Island died Monday morning, August 13, 2007, at St. Vincent-Mercy Medical Center in Toledo. He was born in Fremont, OH, April 19, 1936, the son of Clarence and Mary Heisler Ohm. He was a Marine Corps Veteran having served during a crisis in Lebanon in 1957. Marvin was a member of Port Clinton V.F.W Homer D. Gardner Post 248, and Port Clinton Moose Lodge 1610. He was employed as a union laborer with Local 480 retiring in 1991. He also did live fish hauling from state to state for pond and lake stocking. After retirement he worked at Bay Pointe in Marblehead.On August 28, 1959, he married Myra Kuzma at St. John Lutheran Church in Port Clinton and she survives along with children, Mary Susan Ohm, Jeffrey Maria Ohm, Debra Ohm, and Laura Anthony Ciacelli all of Catawba Island; grandchildren, Sarah, Jonathon, Gina, Jeffrey, Jacob, Jessica, Jennifer, Anthony, and Nicholas; great-grandchildren, Kameron and Bryson with the family expecting two more; mother, Mary Ohm-Dewey of Oak Harbor; and brother, Richard Carol Ohm of Catawba Island.
