Martin A. Mayo, 47, of Port Clinton, OH, died Monday, September 14, 2009, in the Cleveland Clinic. Martin was born September 15, 1961, in Toledo, Ohio, to Lawrence Mayo and Donna Jackson. He worked as a custodian and client supervisor for Riverview Industries in Oak Harbor for 20 years. Martin was a hard worker, who always had a smile on his face and was loved by a lot of people. He collected movies and was a big John Wayne fan. Martin is survived by his mother, Donna Myrice, siblings, Lori Dave Szalkowski, Richard Carol Lynch, Sandy Dan Zimmerman, Louis Elizabeth Bunker, and Donna Lynn Zajak, his step siblings, Henry Hank Myrice, Jr., Kathy Jimmy Thompson, Phillip Myrice, and Joe Melanie Myrice and sister-in-law, Michelle Myrice. He is also survived by his special friend, Linda Bunker, many nieces and nephews, and his extended family at Riverview Industries. He was preceded in death by his father, step father, Henry Myrice, Sr., and step sister, Rosemary Chi Chi. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2009, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor. The funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 18, 2009, in the funeral home with burial to follow in Roose Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorials for Martin may be directed to Riverview Industries or to the family.
