Martha Magaret Spangler

Martha M. Spangler, age 96, passed away Saturday March 12, 2016 at Cambrian assisted Living. The daughter of John and Anna Koehnke, she was born September 27, 1919 in Germany. Martha married Marion Spangler on October 24, 1937 in Deshler, OH. She was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church. She enjoyed camping with her husband, baking cookies, garage sales and playing cards. Martha volunteered at Lutheran Home for over 45 years. She is survived by her son, Rick (Lorie) Spangler; grandchildren, Jason (Lisa) Spangler, Rachel (Austin) Spangler, Steve (Mandi) Spangler; great grandchildren, Ethan, Brody, Hunter and Peyton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion and sister, Wilma Rosebrook. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday from 4-9 PM at Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd). Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at St. Pauls Lutheran Church 428 N. Erie St. Toledo, OH 43624. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
