Martha M. Soski

Martha M. Soski, 92, of Bellevue, OH and formerly of Port Clinton, OH, passed away Wednesday, April 02, 2014 at the Bellevue Care Center, Bellevue, OH, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 19, 1922 in Kalida, OH, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Kamhaus Schnipke. Martha was baptized Catholic. She loved crocheting, bird watching, cooking and baking in her earlier years. Martha will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Daughters: Susan Luke Kern, Jane Gerald Schreiner both of Tiffin, OH and Janice Paul Tucker of Swanton, OH; Son: Mark Soski of Bellevue, OH; Son-in-Law: Jerry Myers of Oak Harbor, OH; 9 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, daughter: Suzanne M. Myers on December 15, 2006, special companion of 34 years: Leonard Therry, 8 brothers and 4 sisters. Friends & Family may call from 12-1PM, Friday, April 04, 2014 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 216 Washington St, Port Clinton, followed by a Funeral service conducted by Father John Missler at 1:00PM. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton. Memorial contributions in memory of Martha may be given to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, OH.
