Martha Ruth Mankin

Martha Ruth Mankin, age 82, passed away on March 5, 2008 at Sunset Village. She was born in Toledo on June 27, 1925 to Donald and Mary Jones McCombs. Martha was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School. She was a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church and a past president of ECW. Martha was also a member of the Sweet Adelines International Inc. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Lou Tom Crawford; granddaughter, Elizabeth David Harmon; great-grandson, Austin Cammack Harmon; and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward C. Mankin; son, Edward C. Mankin, Jr.; grandson, Thomas E Crawford; one brother and three sisters. According with Marthas wishes there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at St. Matthews Episcopal Church, 5240 Talmadge Rd., on Monday at 11 AM with the family receiving friends one hour before the service will begin with Rev. Joseph Keblesh, Jr. officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthews church. Marthas family wishes to thank the staff at Sunset Village for their outstanding care.
