Martha F. Lowe

Martha F. Lowe, age 87, died October 11, 2016 at Genesis Healthcare in Sylvania. Born August 7, 1929 in DuPont, Ohio to the late Andrew and Mable (Etter) Swicker, she married Leonard C. Lowe on February 12, 1955. Martha was a homemaker and member of Central Park Congregational Church. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, gospel music and Detroit Tigers baseball. Martha loved cats and found great joy in time spent with grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Gene (Patricia) Lowe, Donald (Mary) Lowe, Cathy (Gerald) Koster, Jerome (Sarah) Lowe and Paul (Sue) Lowe; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; and sisters, Alice Rippetoe and Mary McClure. Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Calvin Lowe; brother, Tom Swicker; and sister, Eileen Haruff. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Central Park Congregational Church, 3233 Piero St., Toledo, OH 43615. Interment, Toledo Memorial Park.
