Martha Lou Cassidy

Martha Marty Lou Cassidy, age 75, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Northwest Ohio on Tuesday March 5, 2013. Marty was born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio on August 8, 1937, the daughter of Harry and Ruth Schnabel Wright. She lived most of her life in the Akron area, retiring from Falls Savings and Loan in 1983. She spent the next 23 years in Florida, where she sold real estate for La Casa in North Port. Marty was an accomplished seamstress, an avid reader who also loved card games and game shows. She relocated to Toledo in 2006. Marty was preceded in death by her parents and husband Frank. She is survived by her loving children Alison Jim Mihaly, Scott Pam Jenkins, grandchildren, Dana, Jay, Madeline, Eric, Shannon and Gretchen, and her brother David Shirlee Wright. Marty will be buried in a private graveside service. The family wishes to thank all of Martys caregivers over the past several months and the staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
