Marsha Wortman

Marsha R. Wortman age 57 of Monroe, MI passed away on Monday, August 10, 2009 at the University of Toledo Medical Center. She was born in Toledo on July 11, 1952 to William and Bertha Anteau Robinson. She retired from Champion Spark Plug as a union steward. She then became a full time mom and student. Marsha received her bachelors degree in gerontology and counseling. Marsha was the first in her family to graduate from college. Following graduation she was then employed at Eleanor Kahle Senior Center, Belmont Nursing Home, Heartland of Perrysburg, American Red Cross and Lutheran Homes of Mercy in Williston, Ohio. Marsha was an avid animal lover. Marsha is survived by her husband Paul Wortman; sons, William and Erik Bardwell; step-son, Greg Wortman; sisters, Kris Jon Coker, Barbara Doede and Lisa Frank Shock; granddaughter, Rachel Clayton-Cornell; grandmother, Rose Vipond; uncle, Robert Robinson. Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 from 4-8 pm and Thursday from 3-8 pm at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee, where funeral services will begin on Friday at 11:00 am.
