Mark Edward Townsend

Mark Edward Townsend, age 66, of Maumee, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014. He was born on August 22, 1947 in Iona, Michigan to Clinton and Margaret Cloutier Townsend. Mark was an avid Wisconsin Badgers fan, enjoyed watching NASCAR races and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He and Norma liked to country line dance, but his greatest joy was his family and grandchildren. Mark is survived by his wife, Norma nee Frank; son, Mark J. Cyndalyn; daughter, Pam Mike DeKnight; son, Terry Pamela; daughter, Tammy Brian Cook; ten grandchildren; three great grand-children; sister, Martha Dean Moody and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Friends may visit at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 104 Broadway Street, Maumee, Ohio on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 10:00 AM.
