Mark G. Reese

Mark G. Reese, 63, of Oregon, passed away in the comfort of his home on Monday, November 5, 2018. Mark was born on April 5, 1955 to Clyde G. and Joyce E. (Blakely) Reese in Oregon. Mark was an Assembly Line Employee for Chrysler for 30 years retiring in 2009. He married Rose M. (Herman) Reese on August 22, 1986 and she survives. Mark was affectionately known as “Dr. Mark” by his children, friends and grandchildren. He was able to repair anything. “If it was broken, he could fix it.” He was a member of Epiphany of the Lord Sacred Heart, UAW Local 12 and was an avid Jeep enthusiast. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Rose; children, Brandi (Tim) Rooks, Lindsay (Joe) Adamski, Jordyn (Rick) Morrison, and Jake (fiancé Kaeley) Reese; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Kayla, Jaidyn, Kloe, Addi and Nate; great-grandchild, Luna; along with his mother, Joyce Reese; and brother, Tracy (Amy) Reese. He had many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Reese. Friends will be received on Friday, November 9, 2018 at the Hoeflinger-Shank Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave. Oregon, Ohio (419-691-6768) from 2:00-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. On Saturday, November 10, 2018, a Funeral Mass will take place at the Epiphany of the Lord Parish at Sacred Heart Church, 509 Oswald Street, Toledo, OH at 12:00 p.m. A Gathering of Friends will be held from 2:00-7:00 p.m. at the Bayside Boardwalk, 2759 Seaman Rd.
