Mark Holland Pinski

June 27, 1962 — December 14, 2021

Mark H. Pinski, 59, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on December 14, 2021. He was born in Toledo, the middle child of Clem and Darlene (Vance) Pinski. Mark was a 1980 graduate of Whitmer High School, which is where he met his other half, and wife of 39 years, Carrie (LeVally). He was a union proud GM employee of over 30 years. Mark was truly a one of a kind man. He was a wise old owl intertwined with a class clown. When he wasn't working hard for his family or lending a helping hand he could be found sharing jokes and belly laughing. He was always there to provide words of encouragement or wisdom, pat you on the back for a job well done, and to help pick you back up if you had fallen. Mark's heart was made of gold, and big enough to share love with anyone who needed it, no matter where you were in your life or the circumstances that brought you there. Mark was a tireless worker. He always ensured that his family had what they needed, and wanted for very little. Over the years Mark has had several passions. He enjoyed bowling on 'mom and pop' leagues around the area for many years, and was a Saturday morning youth bowling coach for many of those. He enjoyed golfing, and had recently started golfing regularly in leagues at Giant Oaks. Mark's longtime passion though was camping. He had camped ever since he was a child, and he ensured his children and grandchildren all had a love for camping as well. He had spent the last several years managing Shady Shores Campground in Montpelier, where he would've stayed whole summers if he were able. He lived for his family, and their passions were his passions. Mark loved watching his girls play softball and dance on stages, he never complained about sitting for endless hours at dance competitions. He was beyond proud of watching his son and grandsons drive their hearts out on a racetrack and was always willing to wrench on whatever needed to be done. He loved traveling with his wife, frequenting NASCAR tracks together, and just sharing life's moments with her. He adored his grandchildren, and they adored their Papa. Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard and Martha Ratz and Clemens and Elaine Czlapinski. He leaves behind his loving wife, Carrie Pinski; children, Sarah (Nick) Pierson, JoLynn (Nick) Kruzel, and Mark (Cheyenne Cummings) Pinski; and grandchildren, Madison, Gavin, Tyler, Lilly, Andrew, Grantly, Emily, and one on the way, Vivien. Also surviving are his parents, Clem and Darlene Pinski; in-laws, William and Mary LeVally; siblings, Carrie Pinski and Mike (Carrie) Pinski; brother-in-law, Bill (Lori) LeVally; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mark will be remembered by everyone he had touched throughout his life; may his light continue to shine in their hearts as his legacy continues on. Friends will be received at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) on Saturday after 12:00pm where services will follow at 5:00pm. Online condolences may be shared with the family at walkerfuneralhomes.com.
