Mark Garris

Mark Garris, age 65, passed away on October 5, 2023. Born December 28, 1957, Mark was a lifelong resident of Toledo, attending Whitmer High School and graduating in 1976. While at Whitmer, Mark played football, and began a love for fitness that continued throughout his life. He was interested in bodybuilding and enjoyed weightlifting.

Mark loved music, especially Dave Brubeck and classic rock. He was a talented guitarist and enjoyed playing his several electric guitars. Mark was also very close with his friends and his mother, who loved him dearly. He will be missed.

Mark is preceded in death by his father, Richard Garris; and brother, Jeff Garris. He is survived by his mother, Frances Garris.

A graveside service will be held at Toledo Memorial Park, 6382 Monroe St., Sylvania, OH 43560, on Wednesday, October 11, at 2 p.m. Arrangements by Walker Funeral Home, Sylvania.
