Mark Gallaher

On the morning of December 30th, 2015, Mark quickly and quietly passed away, ending his struggle with cancer. Mark was born in Boston Massachusetts on March 8th, 1954. Mark was the second oldest of a brood of seven children. After graduating from Waite High School in East Toledo, Mark went on to serve in the United States Air Force; he was stationed in Homestead FL where he balanced his responsibilities with fun. While the balance may not have always been equal, after his four years of service he was honorably discharged. After living for a time in Seattle WA he moved back home to Toledo OH to be closer to family and to eventually raise his son Jason. Where ever Mark went and whatever he was doing he left a legacy of kindness, compassion, and hard work. Mark was preceded in death by his sister Denise, and is survived by his loving fiancé Vevette, son Jason, mother Deloris, brothers: Rick, Chris, Dave, Jim, Steve and their families. A memorial service will be held January 9th at Hoeflinger-Bolander funeral home, 3500 Navarre Ave. Oregon OH. Visitation will be from 1-3 followed by a short service.
