Mark A. Evans, 59, of Port Clinton and formerly of Marblehead, Ohio, passed away December 18, 2021, at the Cleveland Clinic following a lengthy illness. He was born in Port Clinton on June 15, 1962, the son of Robert and Phyllis J. (Monroe) Evans, Sr. He graduated from Danbury High School in 1980 and started working for Herb’s Sportsman’s Supply on Catawba Island, where he worked for the next 30 years. Mark enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy and was exceptionally good at answering the tough questions! Mark also enjoyed a good cigar and beer when he was relaxing. Mark is survived by his siblings, Kathy (Dean) Barton, Douglas Evans, Kerry (Thomas) Feicht and Robert (Tammy) Evans, Jr., niece, Megan (Tom) Baskin, nephews, Joshua (Emily) Feicht and Jacob Feicht, great nieces, Hailey Baskin and Elliott Evans, great nephews, Carter Feicht and Fritz Feicht, and his close friend, Dan Ellithorpe. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jill Kilgore. A graveside service for Mark will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Sunday, January 9, 2022, in the Sackett Cemetery, Lakeside-Marblehead, Ohio. Memorials in his name may be made to the family.
