Mark Allen Eckhart

Mark Allen Eckhart, Sr, age 52, passed away Monday, September 28, 2009 at his residence in Toledo. Mark was born in Toledo to John Jr. and Therese Eckhart. He worked at the Jeep plant as a linesman for many years. Mark was a devoted husband and dedicated father. He enjoyed a wide variety of sports including NASCAR, especially MIS, and the Horse Trotters. Mark took great pride in all of his boys sports and activities as they were growing up and coached many of their little league baseball teams. Mark is survived by his wife, Gloria DAgostino Eckhart; sons, Mark, Jr. and John Eckhart, IV; sisters, Sheryl and Darlene Eckhart; brothers, James Twitch Sue Eckhart and John Eckhart, III Mary Ann; nieces and nephews, Jessica Berry, Nathan, Noah, and Chip Rhiannon Bush, Laura , Mary, and Allison DAgostino, and DJ Jessie and Andy Tammy Eckhart. He was preceded in death by his parents and niece, Nicole Eckhart. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. where services will be on Thursday at 11:00am with visitation from 10am until the time of the service.
