Mark Chaffin

Mark A. Chaffin, 56, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Sunday, March 15, 2015 at H. B. Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. He was born August 26, 1958 in Port Clinton, the son of Fred and Alma (Rickner) Chaffin. Mark worked at Vita Plate until his retirement. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard. Mark was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Port Clinton. He was an avid Elvis and Cleveland Browns fan. Mark loved singing, golf and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Children: Wendy (Kevin), Matt (Tasha), Mark and Melinda (Louie); Grandchildren: Allie, Damien, Levi, Dylan and Logan; Brothers: Wayne, Fred (Mary) and Chuck; Sister: Darlene (Dennis) Robel and his loving pets: Sage & Elvis. Mark was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call from 5:00PM until the time of services at 6:00PM, Friday, March 20, 2015 at the Church of the Nazarene, 205 W. Fourth St., Port Clinton, OH 43452, conducted by Pastor Janet Reed. Interment will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Mark may be given to the family.
