Marjorie L. Wheeler

Marjorie L. Wheeler (Schiets), 93, passed away December 15, 2017 in Jacksonville, Florida. Marjorie was born November 14, 1924 to Robert and Louise Schiets in Fremont, Ohio. After high school she attended Bob Jones College and Eastern Michigan University receiving a Masters Degree in Education. She taught fifth grade for over 30 years, retiring from Chippewa Valley Elementary School in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Marjorie was a literacy advocate, she enjoyed gardening and was active in her church. Her husband, Harry L. Wheeler, preceded her in death. She is survived by their five children, Gary L. Wheeler, Lynn L. Leckron, Richard R. Wheeler, Patricia A. Price and Russell B. Wheeler. Marjorie had ten grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. A private graveside service will be held at the Salem Township Union Cemetery, in Oak Harbor, Ohio on December 20, 2017. The family has suggested memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project, 230 W. Monroe St., Suite 200, Chicago, IL 60606. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 165 E.
