Marjorie Tilden

Marjorie H. Tilden age 82 of Toledo passed away Monday January 13, 2014 in Flower Hospital. She was born August 16, 1931 in Wilton, North Dakota to Carl and Hazel Gilbertson. She volunteered at various hospitals in the childrens wards and enjoyed craft classes. A devoted wife and mother, she loved cooking and gardening and was a past room mother at Hiawatha Elementary. The widow of Charles Tilden, she was also preceded in death by her son Alan and infant daughter Julie. Marjorie is survived by son Bryan Jill Tilden; granddaughters Misty Dave Jorgensen and Julie Tilden; great grandchildren Zoe Jorgensen , Greeley and Rigby; and sisters Alice Stoecker, Eleanora Schatz, Mary Fetch, Laverne Haring and Evelyn Hallquist. Friends will be received at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey on Thursday from 2-8 PM. Funeral services and burial will be held in North Dakota. The family would especially like to thank her long time family physician, Dr. Joses Yuan, cardiologist Dr. George Maly, and also the staff at the Franciscan Center for their care and support.
