Marjorie Laubenthal

Marjorie J. (Tippin) Laubenthal, 91, of Perrysburg, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Marjorie was born July 20, 1926 in Perrysburg, Ohio to James J. and Rosa (Ollendorf) Tippin. She married Paul F. Laubenthal on May 29, 1947 and he preceded her in death in 1993. Marjorie was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a volunteer for Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg and at Delta Elementary School in Delta, Ohio. Marjorie loved going to the casinos and had a special place in her heart for animals. She was a social butterfly and never met a stranger; making friends everywhere she went. She is survived by her children, Paul (Beverly) Laubenthal, Susan (Tony) Cymbola and Nancy Laubenthal; grandchildren, Jennifer Cymbola Gray (Martin) and Julie Cymbola Hoffmann (Nick); great-grandchildren, Katherine Gray and Lucas Gray. Along with her husband, Paul, Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Leroy; sisters, Ruby Craven and Mildred Roberts; and fiancé, Walter Goeckerman. Per Marjorie’s wishes, services and burial will be private. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133).
