MARJORIE “MARGIE” HELDT Marjorie “Margie” Heldt, age 86, of Walbridge, died Wednesday, February 08, 2012, in Bay Park Community Hospital. She was born on August 28, 1925, in Toledo to Perry and Clara Belle (Brown) Loomis. Marjorie was employed as clerk for JC Penney’s. She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Genoa. In her spare time Margie was involved with her Bunco club and Sunshine club. She loved spending time with her friends at the Lake Twp Senior Center, but most of all she loved being a housewife and mother. She is survived by her children, Karen (Dean Skillman) Mulholland, John (Sharon) Heldt, Carol (John) Shepard and James (Kathy) Heldt; grandchildren, Jason (Alexis) Heldt-Yamokoski, Aaron Heldt, Richard Dimling, Sean Heldt and Heather Heldt; great-grandchildren, Auston, Kaden, Corbin and Loren Alexandra; and sister, Diana (Gerald) Charles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren; and brothers, Edward and Richard Loomis. Family and Friends will be received from 2-5pm and 6-8pm on Sunday, February 12, 2012 in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home 701 N. Main St. Walbridge (419-666-3121) where services will be held on Monday at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
