Marjorie A. Marge Blausey

Marjorie Marge A. Blausey, 76, of Williston, Ohio, died in the early morning of Wednesday October 1, 2014 in the Edward Marion Knight Hospice Center, Perrysburg, Ohio. She was born in Oak Harbor, Ohio on September 11, 1938, the daughter of Carl Thelma (Meyer) Seawater. In 1956 she graduated from Waite High School and on January 10, 1959 in St. Marks Lutheran Church, Toledo, she married Bernard Bernie R. Blausey. They shared 55 wonderful years together. Marge loved working as the head cook for the former Brunner Elementary School of the Genoa Area Local Schools for 27 years retiring in 2003. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Williston where she was an active member of the Esther Circle. She loved Cleveland Indians baseball, and was an avid fan! Marge Bernie enjoyed attending Genoa football and basketball games and the countless activities and sporting events her grandchildren participated in over the years. Marge is survived by her husband Bernie, daughter, Brenda (Jeff) Northrop, son, Craig (Sharon) Blausey, grandchildren, Kyle Northrop, Natalie (Roul) Klag, Amber (A.J.) Marquis, Amanda Bartson, and Andrew Blausey. She is also survived by her brother, Charles (Jackie) Seawater and her sister, Joyce Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents. A funeral for Marge will be conducted at 11 AM, Monday October 6, 2014 in St. John Lutheran Church, 21140 W. Toledo St. Williston, OH 43468. Visitation will be in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 501 West St. Genoa, OH 43430, from 2-4 6-8 PM Sunday, October 5, 2014. Interment will be in the Allen Township Cemetery, Williston. The family suggests memorial contributions in Marges name be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH,43551, St. John Lutheran Church, or the Allen-Clay Joint Fire District, Station #1, 21016 W. Toledo St. Williston, OH 43468.
