Marjorie Frances Black

Marjorie Frances Black, age 92 of Toledo passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Kingston in Sylvania. She was born September 7, 1924 in Toledo to Edward and Valeria (Hasselschwartz) Kretz. Her life revolved around her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The widow of Vincent Black, she was also preceded in death by her sister Virginia Lockwood. Surviving are her daughters Marsha Rohrman, Patricia (Martin) Shepherd and Kathryn (William) Shepherd; grandchildren Matthew Shepherd, MD, Anne (Terry) McLaughlin, Andrew (Barbie) Shepherd, Allyson (Jounghoon) Lee and Jeffrey (Finace Katie) Shepherd; and great-grandchildren Lucy, Evan, Sophia and Victoria. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday at 11 AM in St. Clement Church 3030 Tremainsville Rd. Toledo where visitation will be after 10 AM. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
