Marjorie E. Bergman

Marjorie Bergman, 86 of Port Clinton, OH passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, February 01, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, OH. She was born March 03, 1925 in Port Clinton, OH, the daughter of Rollin E. and Jessie A. Warnke Bergman. Marge worked for Standard Products, retiring after 41 years of service. She also worked part time at the Lake House Mon Ami. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton. Marge loved to travel, bowl, play cards and get together for class reunions and reunions with former co-workers. She spent the majority of her retirement in Florida, spending 3 months a year in Port Clinton. Marge will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Brother: Richard Carole Bergman of Port Clinton, OH; Sister: Lois Bettinger of Berkey, OH; Nieces Nephews: Stephen Barb Bettinger, Joyce Phillip Felzer, Thomas Bettinger, Shirley Ken Doss, Lynn Tom Sorg, Patricia Tom Power Navarro, Betty Mike Bennett and Sandra Ed Greunke; several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews who brought her so much joy; Special Cousins: Gene Rissa Lorensen, Larry Pricilla Lorensen and Linda Carl Hopfinger. Marge was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Donald Bergman and brother-in-law: Karl Bettinger. Visitation will be 2-4 6-8PM, Friday, February 03, 2012 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral service will be conducted by Reverend James Lehman at 11:00AM, Saturday, February 04, 2012 in the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Marjorie may be given to St. John Lutheran Church, Bay Township Vol. Fire Dept or Hospice of Northwest, Ohio, Perrysburg, OH.
