Marjorie Opal Adams, age 96, of Swanton, OH died Thursday, December 10, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee. She was born in Perrysburg on October 6, 1919 to Alfred and Minnie (Burditt) Wilson and on November 19, 1936, she married Jesse Adams who preceded her in death on July 2, 1981. A loving mother and grandmother, she enjoyed nurturing her 13 children and when she did have spare time, Marjorie enjoyed embroidering, fishing, gambling and was always up to hopping in the car for a road trip! She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her children, Barbara Poling, Joyce (James) May, Mary (David) Morris, John (Donna) Adams, Susan (Phil) Wiland, Leslie Adams, Richard Adams, Gail (Jack) Sager, Carol (Don) Wiland, Marvin (Darlene) Adams and Diane (Lon) Irelan; 25 grandchildren; 57 great grandchildren; 9 great- great grandchildren as well as many step grandchildren, step great grandchildren and step great-great grandchildren; daughter in law, Judy Adams. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Minnie; husband, Jesse; daughter, Wilma Stack; son, James Adams; sons-in-law, Jerry Stack and Jerry Poling as well as her daughter in law, Juanita Adams. Friends will be received on Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 2:00-9:00 P.M. at Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway in Holland (419-865-8879) where funeral services will be held on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Swan Creek Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy in Marjorie’s name may do so to the charity of the donor’s choice.
