Marissa A. Rose

Marissa A. Rose Marissa Anne Rose, age 16, passed away as the result of a tragic automobile accident on Tuesday, November 20, 2007. She was born on May 25, 1991 in Toledo, Ohio to William and Karen Drerup Rose. Marissa was a junior at Anthony Wayne High School. She was recently inducted into the National Honor Society and was an outstanding student. She was a member of the AW marching band, symphonic band, pit orchestra, and tennis team. She participated in the Bowling Green Skating Club, Toledo Youth Orchestra, Ottawa Hills Flute Choir and was a soloist at St. Joan of Arc Parish where she was a member since birth. She volunteered at the Jamie Farr golf tournament and at the Multiple Sclerosis Bike-to-the Bay. She was employed at Blue Pacific Grill in Levis Commons. Marissa was a talented young lady who touched so many lives in a positive way. She will be deeply missed by her parents and her brother, Michael. She is also survived by her grandparents, Jayne Wolford of Findlay, OH and Sidney and Roberta Rose of Vermilion, OH. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Robert Drerup. She will be forever remembered by her aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, especially her first love Caleb Miller. Visitation will be at Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St. Maumee on Sunday, November 25, 2007 from 2-8 pm.
