Marilyn Suter

Marilyn Ann Suter, age 83 of Monclova, OH passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at St. Lukes Hospital. Marilyn was born on August 13, 1929, in Brookfield, IL. to Elmer and Florence Ring Dreher. She moved to Bensenville, IL. in 1945 where she met the love of her life, Richard Dick Suter. They were married on December 30, 1950 and started their life in Cincinnati, OH. Mom and dad welcomed 9 children and she fulfilled her vocation beautifully as a devoted wife and mother. Although her most cherished role was motherhood and her family, she was a dedicated parishioner and servant at St. Joseph Parish in Maumee, where they were members since 1970. Marilyn is survived by her husband of over 62 years, Richard; children, Catherine Ferran, Patricia Mark Jacobs, Susan Wolgamot, James Linda Suter, Mary David Dressell, Timothy Miriam Suter, Barbara Suter, Thomas Suter and Maggie Matthew Viertlbeck; 25 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and a sister, Florence Wittke. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Marilyns life on Friday, August 2, 2013 from 3:00-8:00 PM at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St. Maumee, OH. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM in the funeral home. Prayers will begin at the funeral home on Saturday at 9:30 AM followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Josephs Catholic Church Maumee, OH.
