Marilyn J. Morrison

Marilyn J. Morrison, 78, of Genoa, died on the morning of Wednesday, November 29, 2017, in Mercy-St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. She was born July 24, 1939, in Clay Center, Ohio, to Clayton and Madeline (Swartz) Lowe. She married Elwood Morrison in Las Vegas, Nevada, and he preceded her in death. Marilyn worked for the former Northern Ohio Telephone Co. for several years. When she and her husband lived in Las Vegas, she worked for 30 years in housekeeping at hotels in Las Vegas and Arizona. Marilyn loved history and watching old western movies. Her favorite hobbies were ceramics, cake decorating, puzzles and crossword puzzles. She is survived by her sister, Phyllis Poth of Genoa, her aunt, Deanna Kozak of Genoa; cousins, Christina (Steven) Crispen, Connie (Steve) Reed and Stephanie (Larry) Schnabel; Mark Weyandt, Mike (Kim) Weyandt and Phillip (Lisa) Weyandt; and several other nieces, nephews and cousins. Her parents preceded her in death, as well as her brothers, James, Gary and Wayne Lowe. A memorial service for Marilyn will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, December 8, 2017, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa.
