Marilyn Mae McMaster left this world on November 17, 2022 at age 91. Marilyn was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Marilyn was born to Walter and Rose (Lehman) Musolf, the second of three children, on May 21, 1931. She was married to her husband of 70 years, Dexter Herman McMaster, on September 7, 1952. Dexter and Marilyn were blessed with four children, Marsha, Michael, Lynne, and Matthew, which were followed by two grandchildren Abigail and Andrew. With the exception of some years in Derby, Kansas, Dexter and Marilyn spent most of their married life in Northwest Ohio, in particular Perrysburg since 1982. Marilyn was a life-long member of the Lutheran Church where she volunteered her services for years. Marilyn’s greatest joy came from being a mother to her four children and a grandmother to her two grandchildren. Her favorite times were times spent with family and her greatest pleasures came from watching the growth of her children and grandchildren and sharing in their many accomplishments along the way.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Rose Musolf, sister, Patricia Waldbauer, and daughter-in-law (wife of Michael), Roetta McMaster. She is survived by her husband, Dexter McMaster, her children and their spouses, Marsha and Greg Sushinsky, Michael and Blanche McMaster, Lynne McMaster, and Matthew and Linda McMaster, her grandchildren, Abigail McMaster and Andrew McMaster, and brother and sister-in-law, James and Jean Musolf.
