Marilyn C. Marx

Marilyn C. Marx, age 86, of Toledo, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 11, 2010, at the Kingston Care Center. She was born January 13, 1924, in Toledo, Ohio, to John and Edna Stender. Marilyn enjoyed collecting antiques, going to auctions and reading. She is survived by her sons, Gary Debbie Marx, Dean Jeannine Marx, Jeff Maureen Marx and Greg Marx; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and sisters, Joyce Ramsey and Irene Dibert. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Norman W. Marx, also her parents and her brother, John Stender. Friends may call at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey on Thursday from 6-9 PM where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 AM with Pastor Rick Rust officiating. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials to Liberty Baptist Church, 5501 Jackman Rd. Toledo, Ohio 43613.
