Marilyn A. Mannebach, 71, lifetime resident of Maumee, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2008 in the Goerlich Center surrounded by herloving children. She was born May 18, 1936 to Howard and Alice Lauer Rhinehalt. A graduate of Maumee High School, class of 1954, Marilyn served on the reunion committee for many years. She and her husband had owned and operated D J Auto Supply where she had worked as the bookkeeper. Marilyn had been a member of the Maumee Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, volunteered with Meals on Wheels, and belonged to the Maumee Mothers bowling league at Timbers. She enjoyed fishing, shopping and dancing. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Marilyn will be missed by all who knew her. Surviving are her daughter, Pamela John Franks of Centennial, CO; sons, Jeffrey Mannebach of Martin, OH and Scott Mannebach of Toledo; grandchildren, Justin and Catlin Mannebach, John and Alison Franks; sisters, Jean Joel Wareing of Georgetown, TX and Shirley Terry of Virginia Beach, VA. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. Bud Mannebach; her parents, and her brother, Truman Rhinehalt. Family and friends may visit Sunday from 2-9 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne- Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee where funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
