Marilyn Jane Karrenbauer

Marilyn J. Karrenbauer, age 73 of Maumee, Ohio passed away April 1, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Marilyn was born July 27, 1941 in Canton, OH to Walter and Marcella Hoffman. She married Ronald J. Karrenbauer on May 30, 1964. She graduated from Canton Central High School and earned her bachelor degree in education from Kent State University. Marilyn loved spending time with her family, debating the finer points of football, the Cleveland Indians and sewing projects. She was a member of the Sweet Adelines. Marilyn is survived by her husband Ron, daughters Kathleen (Bill) Albrecht, Tracy (John) Marcarello, Jamie (Doug) Wood, Heidi (Brett) Ames, and son Dirk (Kelly) Karrenbauer, as well as her brother Walter (Margie) Hoffman and grandchildren Thomas, Alyssa, Emma, Emily, Marlee, Jackson, Allie, Audrey and Estelle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lavonne. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 9:30 am at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 104 W. Broadway in Maumee, with the Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Ann & Robert H.
