Marilyn J. Johnson

Marilyn J. Johnson, age 76, of Toledo, Ohio died Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Toledo on September 14, 1935 to Fred F. and Anna M. (Eggert) Frosch and on May 1, 1976 she married Donald E. Johnson who preceded her in death on May 30, 1995. Marilyn was known as an avid reader who enjoyed watching western movies. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her children, Donald E. (Jackie) Scharer, Judith A. (Irv) Leidy and Robert L. (Janet) Scharer; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren as well as her sisters, Elaine and Judy. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Anna as well as her husband, Donald E. Johnson. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-8 P.M. in Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway in Holland (419-865-8879) where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 10 A.M. with Pastor Irvin C. Leidy officiating. Burial will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
