Marilyn Hope Huffman, 83, of Elmore died Monday, February 14, 2011 at Bethesda Care Center, Fremont. She was born on January 8, 1928 in Perrysburg to Louis C. and Lucille Winkel Geldien. On January 24, 1946 in Elmore she married Herbert P. Huffman, and he preceded her in death on November 3, 1990. Marilyn was a member of the United Brethren Church, Elmore and past member of the Moose Lodge and Eagles Lodge both in Fremont. She enjoyed embroidery, reading, going to auctions and collecting antique baskets. Marilyn is survived by her children, son: Michael P. Maria Huffman of Houston, TX, daughter: Dawn M. life partner, Jacquie Harbiston Huffman of South Carolina, and son: Donald L. Huffman of Oak Harbor, brother: Louis Darwin Geldien and sister: Doris Paul both of Oak Harbor, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Lowell Geldien. Memorial services will be conducted 6:00 p.m., Friday, February 18, 2011 at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Oak Harbor with visitation one hour prior to the services from 5:00 6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in memory of Marilyn may be given to Hospice of Memorial Hospital.
