Marilyn Jean Freeman

Marilyn Jean (Sickmiller) Freeman, age 88 of Toledo, OH passed away into the arms of her Lord on July 11, 2018. She was born in Napoleon, OH on March 27, 1930 to Cloyce and Ruth (Dennie) Sickmiller. Marilyn married William R. Freeman in 1952, and he preceded her in death in 2003. She graduated from Holgate High School in 1948, the Riverside Hospital School of Nursing in 1951, received her B.S Education Degree in 1976, and her Master of Nursing Degree. Marilyn was employed at Riverside Hospital for 36 years. She is survived by her sons, Douglas (Patricia) Freeman; Kenneth (Pamela) Freeman; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Freeman; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 3 children: Lynette Freeman, Jeffrey Freeman, Brian Freeman; 2 brothers; 4 sisters. Visitation will be 10:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, OH. The funeral service will immediately follow at 11:30 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
