Marilyn B Cotner

Marilyn B. (Baney) Cotner, 92, of Perrysburg, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2020 at Waterford at Levis Commons. Marilyn was born August 2, 1927 in Lima, Ohio to Lester and Nina (Miller) Baney. She married Richard D. Cotner on August 15, 1948 in Lima, Ohio and they shared 50 years together, until he passed on November 13, 1998. Marilyn was a faithful member of Zoar Lutheran Church. Marilyn was active in the Perrysburg community and loved to volunteer. She enjoyed playing golf and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her children; Steven (Debby Peters) Cotner, Suzanne (Dean) Mandros and David Cotner and grandchildren, Nicholas Mandros, Alexandra (Glen Essakow) Mandros, Sasha Mandros, Rennie Cotner, Aidan Cotner, Greg (Lisa) Peters, Andrew (Debora) Peters and Gwyn Peters . Along with her husband, Richard, Marilyn was preceded in death by her siblings, Jeanne Bott, Dorcas Blair and Lester Donald Baney. A private graveside service for Marilyn was held at Fort Meigs Union Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133).
