Marilyn A. Cocke

COCKE Marilyn A. Marilyn A. Cocke, age 74, passed away January 3, 2008, at the Kingston Care Center in Sylvania. Marilyn was born in Rossford, OH to Joseph and Irene Dabrowiak on June 20, 1933. She was a graduate of Rossford High School, and a cheerleader for the basketball team. Marilyn made such an impression on the Rossford High School principal that after graduation he asked her to return to the school as his secretary, a job at which she remained for a number of years. Marilyn was a talented pianist and a competitive dancer. Marilyn and her husband, Charles, enjoyed traveling in her later years, and especially enjoyed visiting Las Vegas and spending time in Ft. Myers, FL, where they owned a condominium. Marilyn is survived by her husband of 46 years, Chuck; daughter, Cheryl Mills; sister-in-law, Kathryn Lorigan; nieces and nephews, Janet DeMeo Matt, Carolyn Bilek Albert, Eddy Lorigan and Kenny Lorigan, and four great-nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff of Kingston Care Center for their loving care of Marilyn over the past few years. There will be no visitation and services will be private.
