Marietta B. Davis

Davis Marietta Beatrice Marietta Beatrice Davis, age 86, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at her home in Maumee, OH. Marietta and her twin sister, Henrietta were born in Toledo, to Alfred and Maude Sautter. She was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School where she and her sister started a Twins Club and were tap dance performers with the DeVilbiss Develtries. A member of St. Andrews Methodist Church, Marietta was a devoted wife and mother. Marietta is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert L. Davis of Maumee; daughter, Gwendolyn L. Davis; grandchildren, Ashleigh and Alexander Fayne; all of Birmingham, AL; and her twin sister, Harietta Drehr. Visitation will be Thursday from 3-8pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Avenue west of Corey Rd. where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00am.
