Marie E Ziegler

Marie E. Ziegler age 93 of Toledo, OH passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. Marie was born in Toledo, OH on August 25, 1920 to Joseph and Florence Hoffmann. She was employed at JCPenney and Lucas Products until retiring in 2003. Marie was a founding member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing cards, gardening and bingo. She is survived by her children, Carolynn Lopinski, Edward Kate Ziegler and Janice Hall. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and brother, George Hoffmann. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward W. Ziegler; grandchildren, Corrie and Julie Lopinski; sisters, Francis Borgelt, Sr. Loretta Hoffmann OP, Catherine Gembreska, Doris Dudley, Marian Bohland and brothers, Joseph and Donald Hoffmann. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 10:00 am at Regina Coeli Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio 30000 E. River Rd.
